The Closet Exchange is looking for your better quality women's clothing; casual wear, professional attire, formal wear, purses, handbags, furs, shoes, and accessories.

All clothes must be:

In-Style -- Not more than 2 years old.

In-Season -- Our acceptance schedule is Spring/Summer beginning February 1st, and Fall/Winter beginning August 1st.  Prom Wear beginning March 1st and Winter Formal Wear beginning October 1st.

In Excellent Condition -- that means, no missing buttons or hardware; free from stains, odors, holes, excessive wear, pilling, alterations or flaws that effect salability.

It Is All About Presentation! The nicer your items look (i.e., being cleaned, pressed and on hangers), the nicer your check will look!

First time consignors need an appointment.

Please call 781-444-0367, between 10:00am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday) to set up a convenient time. For your first appointment you must bring at least 3 but not more than 20 items. All clothing must be neat, clean, pressed and on hangers.

We'll Show You The Money

All prices are set by the Closet Exchange and may change at any time to facilitate sales. All items are initially consigned for six weeks. When an item sells, you receive ONE-HALF of the selling price.

Checks for sales over $50 are mailed monthly, a $1 will be deducted for processing fees. There is a one time only consignment setup fee of $19.95, which will be deducted from your first check.

At the end of the consignment period any unsold items become store property to be liquidated or donated to local charities that directly benefit women in need. Some of our current charities in the Boston, Massachusetts area are: Dress For Success, Boomerang's, and Rosie's Place.
