Hi, Beauties–I apologize in advance for the length of this blog, but there’s as lot to say.
First,we’ve had many requests for another Beauty Information Day–so, our friend Dot Mitchell (owner of Laser Skincare Solutions here in Needham) will be here this
Sunday, April 10th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. to answer your beauty questions.
NO FEE, NO STRESS, NO SALES PITCH. Just a chance to talk to someone who is knowledgeable about wrinkles, sun damage, acne, hair removal and other issues. Dot is great–down to earth, well informed, honest, a good sense of humor, and a licensed healthcare professional.
Second–imagine what it would be like to have nothing–no place to live and only the clothes on your back. We’ve been told that the first place women at shelters go when the doors open, is to the tables and cupboards where the toiletries and personal products are kept. These things are always in short supply, but they are so necessary to a woman’s self esteem. We take shampoo, lipstick, moisturizer, mascara and other beauty products for granted.
The Closet Exchange invites you to make a difference for these women. We call it Women Helping Women. This Sunday event with Dot Mitchell is the beginning. Please bring in any unopened or new beauty products or personal supplies. You know–the lipstick that you never opened, the samples you get when you buy a product, the comb from your hairdresser, ot the toothpaste and brush from your dentist. You can help a woman feel like a woman again.
So, please bring those unopened beauty products or personal supplies to any of our stores this Sunday or any day ofter that. We’ll do the rest.
Give with your heart. It could be you.
Take care, Brenda and Maggie
